Duncan Ross worked with English Nature to restore the
peat land areas that had once been
harvested for fuel. Our team
created a series of dams, water control measures and
drainage
channels
in order to regulate moisture content of the peat mosses
to promote new peat growth.

Design: Duncan Ross
Duncan Ross successfully tendered for the
Landcliff Meadow site work to design
and
install a drainage system. This was required
to regulate the moisture
content of the soil in
order to promote endangered plant species.
Due to
the sensitive nature of the environment,
the drainage work was designed specifically
to cause minimum disruption to the ground
and on completion, all original grasses
were re-laid. |
